Sorry for another rinky-dink post this week, but I wanted to let y'all know what was going on.
There will be, God willing and the creek don't rise, a new post next week. It may not be a feature story, but there will be something definitely worth reading.
To let you all know what's going on, there are several great features in the works, but all of them are tied to album releases or other big events.
We've been in touch with the leader of probably the most important revival garage rock band of the late-90s/early aughts. He has a new album he's finishing up and will want to talk to us about that; Also, we have been in touch with the proprietors of one of the best garage rock internet radio stations on the planet (if you read our feature on Psychedelic Jukebox, you know how important these stations are in getting the music out there.) They are in the process of a major upgrade both to their stream and their website and we are anxiously awaiting our chance to interview them, in which they have expressed much interest.
We're also nailing down an interview time with perhaps the best American garage punk band out of the Northwest; we're hoping that happens soon. Plus, there are some other very exciting irons in the fire.
Apparently, people are still checking out the blog, and we so much appreciate your attention and your patience. Check back this weekend for more original reportage and criticism of rock and roll that screams how happy it is to be alive.
